Who should consider attending? Those who are providing or will be providing protective services to clients. This includes active and former law enforcement personnel and anyone else wishing to increase his or her knowledge of the protective services field. Active and former Law Enforcement personnel often have good observation skills and operate effectively under stress. The down side is their training runs counter to EP training. The disciplines and tactics are not the same.
The skills utilized by current protective agents in the field are perishable. As a result, it is important to train on a continuing basis to remain prepared to respond to any eventuality. Responses must be immediate, well coordinated, and effective.
